After a delay caused by the weather, the launch of the rocket has been successfully carried out. First positive real-time results from the experiment U-PHOS have been collected, many more data will be processed in the next days. INFIBRA TECHNOLOGIES is proud to have been part of a great team.

INFIBRA TECHNOLOGIES, GE Oil&Gas and Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna inaugurate the new Laboratory for Advanced Sensors at Nuovo Pignone facility in Florence. The engineers of INFIBRA TECHNOLOGIES will work closely with the R&D department of the multi-national company for the introduction of optical sensing solutions on turbo-machineries. The technological leadership in fiber optic sensors of our startup company is once again confirmed by the giant of the Oil&Gas, that choses INFIBRA TECHNOLOGIES as partner with a multi-year agreement, after a collaboration started in 2014.

INFIBRA TECHNOLOGIES inaugurates a new office at the Polo Tecnologico in Navacchio. The new office, center of all the operations, is located in a popular technology park, where many high-tech companies operate in sectors such as Aerospace, Microelectronics, ICT, Telecommunications, Robotics and Biomedical.

INFIBRA TECHNOLOGIES was selected from several proposals submitted from all over Italy for a scale-up program, supported by the Italian big industries and financial institutions, such as Finmeccanica-Leonardo, Fincantieri, Siemens, Ansaldo Energia, TIM and Intesa San Paolo.

INFIBRA TECHNOLOGIES is proud to announce its support to U-PHOS project, an ESA call for students. A team of the University of Engineering in Pisa will test a passive thermal control technique for space applications based on a Pulsating Heat Pipe under milli-g conditions. INFIBRA TECHNOLOGIES will be involved in the developments of the temperature monitoring system of the pipe through multiple arrays of FBGs, which will demonstrate the feasibility of the fiber optic sensing technologies in aerospace applications.
